Ahead of 12th Independence Day Address, PM Modi Seeks Public Suggestions for Speech Themes
With just two weeks to go before his 12th consecutive Independence Day address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday invited citizens to share their thoughts and ideas for inclusion in this year’s speech.
Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister wrote:
“As we approach this year’s Independence Day, I look forward to hearing from my fellow Indians! What themes or ideas would you like to see reflected in this year’s Independence Day speech?”
He encouraged people to send in their suggestions through open forums on the government’s citizen engagement platform MyGov and the NaMo App.
PM Modi’s Independence Day speeches typically address a wide range of national issues and often include new policy announcements or key national priorities. By seeking public input, the Prime Minister has continued his recent tradition of engaging citizens in shaping the tone and focus of his address from the Red Fort on August 15.
