Canada Blames Israeli Government for Gaza ‘Humanitarian Disaster’
Canada on Thursday condemned the Israeli government for what Prime Minister Mark Carney described as a failure to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
Carney also accused Israel of breaching international law by obstructing the delivery of Canadian-funded aid to civilians in the besieged Palestinian territory.
“Canada calls on all parties to negotiate an immediate ceasefire in good faith,” Carney said in a post on X. “We renew our demand for Hamas to release all hostages without delay, and urge the Israeli government to respect the territorial integrity of both the West Bank and Gaza.”
