India’s First UPI-Only Bank Branch Launched by Slice in Bengaluru’s Koramangala

Fintech firm Slice has launched India’s first fully UPI-based bank branch in Koramangala, Bengaluru, offering a completely card-less and paperless banking experience.

Located on 80 Feet Road, the branch replaces traditional debit cards with UPI apps, allowing customers to deposit and withdraw cash through UPI-enabled ATMs and digital kiosks. Savings accounts can be opened instantly using in-branch tablets.

Adding to the tech-forward setup, a robot assistant guides visitors through the fully digital processes. A video showcasing the robot and UPI-based services has since gone viral on social media.
