Raj Kundra Becomes First Contestant to Exit ‘The Traitors’: “My Wife Was Right – I Can’t Lie”

Businessman Raj Kundra has become the first celebrity to exit The Traitors India after being unmasked as a “traitor” in Episode 2 of the reality game show hosted by Karan Johar on Prime Video.

During the vote-off ceremony, fellow contestant Apoorva Mukhija identified Kundra as suspicious, prompting the majority to eliminate him. Upon his departure, Kundra acknowledged the emotional toll the deception-based format had taken on him.

“I came to The Traitors to win hearts and friends. As I take an exit, I feel that my wife is right,” he said. “She says that I cannot lie to save my life, and it’s not who I am. I am glad that I stayed true to myself. I extend my best wishes to all the participants of The Traitors.”

Kundra openly confessed to being a traitor before being eliminated.

In the first episode, Nikita Luther was eliminated after being nominated by the traitor team, which included Kundra, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Purav Jha. Following Kundra’s exit, Lakshmi Manchu and Karan Kundrra were also eliminated in subsequent episodes.

The remaining contestants include Jannat Zubair, Sahil Salathia, Jasmine Bhasin, Uorfi Javed, and others, as the game continues with rising suspense and strategy.
